Cyberpunk 2077

Alright, let’s talk about Cyberpunk 2077. First off, let’s be clear—when this game dropped in 2020, it was a mess. Like, the kind of mess where you wonder if the devs accidentally shipped out the alpha build and forgot to put in the "working" version. Bugs everywhere, performance issues, characters sliding around like they were on roller skates—honestly, it was like playing a glitchy fever dream. But, that was then.

Fast forward to now, and Cyberpunk has made a comeback. They fixed a lot of the issues—though, let’s be honest, the whole “Keanu Reeves is your best friend in the afterlife” thing is still a bit weird. Johnny Silverhand is basically just hanging out in your head telling you to burn things down like he's your rebellious older brother who thinks throwing a tantrum will solve everything. Which, spoiler alert: it doesn't. But it's Keanu, so we’ll let it slide.

Night City is absolutely gorgeous now, though. Seriously, it feels like you're wandering around in a neon-soaked dystopian future where everything is stylish, but also incredibly bleak. You can’t help but get lost in it. The side quests are ridiculously fun too—sometimes more interesting than the main story! You can be saving the world one minute and then help some guy track down his lost cat the next. It's the perfect mix of high-stakes drama and “I’m just here for the weird stuff.”

And let’s talk about the RPG elements. There’s a ton of customization, from your character’s appearance to their cybernetic enhancements. I spent an embarrassing amount of time tweaking my character’s hair color. Did I go for the futuristic chrome look? You bet I did. I may have also made my character slightly too good-looking for the cyberpunk world, but hey, that’s what happens when you get lost in the character creator.

But honestly, the real fun of Cyberpunk 2077 is just embracing the chaos. Whether you're gunning down corporate goons in a cyberpunk-themed shootout or driving a car that handles like it’s made of butter and regret, you’re in for a wild ride. And hey, if you crash into a pedestrian and they start floating away into the sky? Well, that's just Night City for ya.

In conclusion, it's no perfect game, but it's a hell of a ride now. If you gave up on it before, I’d say give it another shot. The glitches still pop up now and then, but nothing is more satisfying than watching a game go from “disaster” to “oh, actually this is awesome” in real-time. Cyberpunk 2077 is definitely a messy masterpiece, and I’m here for it.
